Eyre Group worked alongside local building contractor MILLCAM LIMITED to complete the M&E refurbishment and extension of The Finley Library at 5-7 Cranmer Road for the University of Cambridge, creating a new multiuse lecture room and study area.
The works included new under floor heating to the extension, mechanical controls and pipework alterations for its integration, whilst stripping out and rewiring the electrical circuits, replacing the multiple distribution boards with a new 3phase distribution board bringing it in line with BS7671.
New LED lighting incorporating DALI controls to allow for dimming and day light harvesting was incorporated into the scheme.
