Eyre Group have worked closely with University of Cambridge through the summer to upgrade the lighting and controls to the prestigious BMS, Pfizer & Wolfson Lecture Theatres that are housed within the Dept. Chemistry on Lensfield Road.
This involved installing new cabling for DALI controls to improve the lighting ambience for lecturers and students alike and replacing all lighting with Thorlux LED’s. We also removed the existing central battery units and replaced with self test standalone emergency lighting that were incorporated into the Thorlux Smartscan software enabling the FM team to remotely carry out emergency lighting checks.
Great job all round by the team involved and a massive improvement to the lighting helping to ensure the Lecture Theatres continue to be a focal point for the Dept. Chemistry & University of Cambridge.
