Queens College – Owlstone Croft (Block D)

Eyre Group complete another prestige project for Queens College.

Block D Owlstone Croft had been unoccupied for approximately 20 years and had suffered from a combination of the elements and lack of maintenance, resulting with a failing brick façade and damp interiors.

Eyre Group together with the Queens’ College resident builder were given the opportunity to bring block D back to life. Resulting in the near derelict building being neutralised to accommodate a three-classroom nursery and student accommodation. The work resulted in the original 1800’s building and 1950’s extension being fused together to provide a new useful and practical future for this near derelict eyesore
